Today’s flashback kicks off the official Christmas shopping season with a sampling of Christmas advertisements from 1950. These ads were published in The Corydon Democrat and feature some of the well-known and loved stores from years past, such as Alstott’s Hardware, Berlin’s Department Store, The Fair Store, Griffin’s Dry Goods, Western Auto, and others.
